How to organize your anniversaries in Multi Time Viewer ======================================================= (c) 1999 Anton Belenki http://timexfun.webprovider.com/ It is very convenient to use Multi Time Viewer for storing your anniversaries (instead of FMMVIEW). To do that, create a blank file in any text editor. The body of that file should be the following: #TITLE_OF_LIST %;TITLE_OF_ANNIVERSARY;0,X,Y where: TITLE_OF_LIST - the title of your anniversary list (for example: anns); TITLE_OF_ANNIVERSARY - the title of an anniversary or the name of a person (for example: John Smith); 0 - indicates that there is no need to put the number of year (to use your anniversary on the current year); A - the number of month (for example: 3); B - the number of date (for example 27). So the body will look like this: #anns %;John Smith;0,3,27 You can add as many anniversaries as you want. For example: #anns %;John Smith;0,3,27 %;Christmas;0,12,25 Then, save a file as FILENAME.MTV, where FILENAME is any name, and put this file to the directory where Multi Time Viewer is situated. Then, after loading MTVIEW.EXF, choose 'Rebuild File List' option to let your anniversary list appear in 'Select File' menu. After loading your list, you will see how many months and days are left until selected anniversary.
